Horizontal Stabiliser - Drilling Horizontal Stabiliser (1.75 Hrs)

-I spent ages trying to work out the HS405 FWD Flange Drilling in Sec D-D but decided to leave that & assemble the HS temporarily with clecos to get an idea of how the assembly fits together.

Horizontal Stabiliser - Rib Preparation (.25 Hrs)

-I fluted the HS708 R, HS706 L&R & HS707 L&R.
As we dont know the location of holes on HS404 & 405 I wont flute them yet

Horizontal Stabiliser - Rear Spar Assy (0.75 Hrs)

The primer is now dry on the VA146 bearing so I riveted the HS411's around the Bearing with a -5 rivet for the first rivet, but like many other builders I wasn't happy with the shop head so I drilled it out and did all the rivets with -6.

-Next I clecoed the hs411 assembly to the spar & enlarged the attachment holes to #12 size.
-I then marked the parts
